Automated Home
You can enjoy the benefits of an automated home. The thought of an automated home is no longer out of reach for today’s home owner. Now, more than ever, these technologies are within reach of all homeowners.
Sharing Cable boxes, DVD players, DVRs, and listening to audio in any room of the house are just a few examples of what can be accomplished in an automated home.
The endless advancements in technology have made it cost prohibitive to constantly upgrade components in every room of the house. With distributed audio and video you can invest in an audio/video component and not just use that component in one place, it would be available throughout the house.
Distributed Audio
Share all of your Audio components throughout your house. This applies to all components such as Tuners, Media Servers, and Internet Radio etc… There are many speaker options for a distributed audio.

In Wall Speakers
For rooms with a well defined listening area, in-wall speakers can be used to create a good stereo image for a listening area.
In Ceiling Speakers
For rooms with a poorly defined listening area, Ceiling speakers are better for delivering a well-rounded sound to a room.
Speaker Jacks
If you would rather use freestanding speakers for your particular room, jacks can be provided to connect them to the distributed audio network. Existing speakers used for a home theater can also be shared by the distributed audio solution.
Distributed Video
All of your TVs in your house would be able to access any number of video components. From DVD players to Cable Set Top boxes, they can be shared by all of your TVs. An example of distributed video benefits; you can pause a DVD in your family room and then go to your bedroom to continue watching the remainder of the DVD.
KeyPad Controllers
Each zone could be accessed with a variety of keypad controllers. A keypad would allow you to choose the source, change songs, increase/decrease volume, etc… It would be in a centralized place for controlling all aspects of a particular zone. A controller could be as simple as a volume control which would just allow you to adjust the volume of the audio. The ultimate controller would be an LCD touch panel.
Home Theaters
From dedicated theater rooms to family rooms with surround sound, there is a solution for everyone. Getting most out the surround sound is the most important goal. There are home theater solutions for all budgets.
Home Networks
Technology is driving more components to be connected to the Internet and interconnected within a Home Network. While WiFi is good for Laptops and components that are mobile, not all components are WiFi enabled. For instance DVRs are not WiFi enabled but can benefit from a home network with Internet access.
